I've Been Where You Are
For thirty-four years, I dedicated my life to nursing. Sixteen of those years were spent as a clinical nurse specialist in respiratory medicine within the NHS. I've held people's hands through their worst days. I've witnessed resilience, heartbreak, and everything in between.
But somewhere along the way, the stress caught up with me too. I had three breakdowns. My body was screaming at me to stop — heart palpitations, dry skin, brain fog — and I still didn't associate any of it with stress. I know exactly how it can derail you, because it derailed me.
But through that stress, I found my path. I discovered a coaching course at university and knew immediately it was what I was meant to do. Over fourteen years ago, I qualified as a life coach — and I've never looked back. I discovered Reiki. I learned that the way out of stress isn't about having a thick skin or just ‘carrying on regardless’ — it's about coming home to yourself.
Today, I combine both scientific and spiritual approaches to help you get unstuck. My nursing background gives me a deep understanding of how stress affects the mind and body. My coaching and Reiki training gives me the tools to help you heal.

University Coaching Training & Reiki
Finding a coaching course at university was a turning point. Over fourteen years of coaching experience, combined with becoming a Reiki practitioner, opened new doors to understanding wellness and stress relief through both scientific and spiritual methods.
Stress Disruptor Is Born
Upon retirement from the NHS, I launched my practice — because I'd been to the edge, and I knew I could help others step back from it. Nobody should have to drown.

The Person Behind the Practice
I'm a wife, mum, stepmum, nanna and great nanna to some awesome humans. Family is at the heart of everything I do. I'm based in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, where I also run a community Singalong group — because I believe everyone can sing, and the joy we get from singing is priceless.
My life experiences have taught me that you are not broken if you suffer from stress — you are just a human being living on this wonderful earth. Resilience isn't about pretending we're fine; it's about learning what to do so we don't fall apart in the storm.
