I'm a former NHS clinical nurse specialist turned Stress Disruptor. With thirty-four years of nursing experience — including sixteen years on an Intensive Care Unit — and over fourteen years as a qualified coach and Reiki practitioner, I bring a blend of scientific understanding and holistic wisdom to everything I do.

I wrote this book because I've lived through chronic stress and burnout myself, and I know the way out. I also know it's not about having a thick skin or just ‘carrying on regardless’ — it's about learning to take better care of yourself. Trust me, it will be well worth the excavation.
